Gary Miller/Getty ImagesThe pandemic has forced Travis Scott to cancel his annual Astroworld Festival scheduled for November 9 in Houston. However La Flame is looking forward to bringing the event back next year.
“The party never ends,” he declared on his Astroworld social media pages, posting a photo of an astronaut with the caption, “See you next year at Astroworld…Be safe.”
The festival debuted in 2018. Last year Migos, Young Thug, Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, Pharrell, DaBaby, Playboi Carti, Pop Smoke and Young Dolph were among the performers.
In other news, last week, the “Franchise” rapper deleted his personal Instagram account after fans mocked his Batman-inspired Halloween costume. He explained that the reason he left Instagram was to focus on his family.
Scott is also focusing on his latest venture, promoting Sony’s new PlayStation 5, which debuts Thursday.
