ABC/Randy HolmesJosh Homme and Sharon Van Etten have premiered the video for their recently released cover of “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding?”
The clip compiles footage of the Queens of the Stone Age frontman and the indie singer-songwriter’s quarantined lives with their children. You can watch it now streaming on YouTube.
“(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding?” was originally written by English singer-songwriter Nick Lowe, and was famously covered by Elvis Costello & the Attractions. Lowe also makes a cameo in Homme and van Etten’s video.
Meanwhile, Homme is guesting on the upcoming Run the Jewels album RTJ4, due out June 5, and Van Etten recently collaborated with Fountains of Wayne on a recording of “Hackensack,” in honor of the band’s late bassist, Adam Schlesinger.
