Shareif Ziyadat/WireImageTekashi 6ix9ine is feeling quite generous since his release from prison last month, wanting to donate $200,000 to help feed struggling children through a nonprofit organization. But No Kid Hungry says Tekashi‘s money isn’t welcome.
“As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values,” says Laura Washburn, No Kid Hungry’s director of strategic communications, according to Complex.
Tekashi, whose birth name is Daniel Hernandez, was sentenced to two years in prison after turning government informant on his former friends and Trey Way label mates for participating in a string of shootings and kidnappings. Due to COVID-19, Tekashi will serve the rest of his sentence under house arrest.
Complex reported Tekashi expressed his frustration with the rejection on Instagram in a now-deleted post. He wrote, “No Kid Hungry rather take food out the mouth of these innocent children I’ve never seen something so cruel.”
The organization disabled the comments on their Instagram page after receiving tons of “L”‘s.
Guess Tekashi can instead take his money back to the bank, adding to the $2 million he made from his new song, “GOOBA,” in less than a week, according to TMZ.
Since his release from prison last month, the Brooklyn rapper has continued his trolling antics on social media and engaged in twitter battles with rapper Meek Mill.
