Jackie DimailigDaBaby has an active warrant out for his arrest for a misdemeanor battery charge, though he says accusation is “100% false.”
TMZ reports a Las Vegas driver has accused the rapper of attacking him during an argument last November. He reportedly was hired to drive DaBaby and his crew around but was allegedly attacked after objecting to them smoking in his Sprinter van.
Things escalated and police arrived at the scene to find DaBaby and his friends cursing out the driver and threatening him. When they arrived at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, the driver asked for his money, reports TMZ.
DaBaby allegedly punched the driver in the face. Authorities reported one of DaBaby’s friends calling the driver a “cracker,” and another mentioned “leaving him for dead.”
DaBaby addressed the headline in his Instagram story, captured by The Shade Room.
“100% false Y’all stay positive,” he wrote. “The devil gone always try you when you doing good.”
His attorney, Drew Findling told TMZ he smells “another attempted money grab.”
DaBaby tends to land himself in a lot of physical altercations. Just this year, he slapped a woman at his Florida concert in March over a camera flash in his face, though he later apologized. Last November, he attacked a hotel employee in Beverly Hills for taking pictures of him while he was with his daughter.
Let’s not forget, DaBaby also parodied his Louis Vitton store fight with rapper Cam Coldheart for his “Carpet Burn” music video.
